One simple and fast Birthday Card coming right up. As you know from my previous post I made my sister a sign from Frank Sinatra. Well you know I had to make a card to go with it. But we were leaving st 4:30Pm to head to her house and it was now 3:00. I had like no time but still wanted to make the card. So here it is a fast and super simple not to mention unique just for her. She loves music and Frank Sinatra include these on the front of the card. What you will need
- I used: Black, White, Black and white flowers, Musical notes
- Elmers Rubber Cement Glue
- Cutting machine (Cricut or Silhouette)
Seriously that’s all you need how easy peasy can this be. I know I use easy peasy a lot ha-ha. So first find a quote or figure out your saying. I found mine from a quote or song lyric from Frank Sinatra. I was going to use this on a sign but since I didn’t why not use it on a card. I put it together in the area I desired for the front of the card on Picmonkey. I also wrote on the inside a sweet little note to her with this program as well. Then I used my Silhouette and cute out 2 butterflies, 3 hearts and 3 musical notes.
I then bent the black butterfly so it gave more of a 3D feel. and I also glued a small paper under one of the hearts to give it more of a 3D feel as well. Although you cannot even tell in the picture. Then you just use your Elmers glue.
I use this for all my cards I find it so much easier and on the smaller cutouts I have I use this glue but a tiny paint brush to put the glue on the smaller pieces. That is it. You are done. Simply yet cute. My sister loved it and had great meaning to her. I hope this shows how easy it is to make your own card. Having a Silhouette has definitely changed my life. Making cards makes you feel so unique in so many ways gives you the best feeling when you can hand make a card and give it to a loved ones. It gives it that much more meaning. Well here is the final result. I hope you enjoy it and give me some feedback.
