DIY Kitchen Decor | Decor Plate | Re-Design Kitchen Part 1

blog diy kitchen decor plate

Hello everyone, today’s post and video is the first part series of re-designing my kitchen. I want my kitchen to have color coordination and match. So this is the first part of my journey I am making a Decor Plate. I wanted to show how simple and easy it is to make and show off the colors I wanted to make my kitchen theme on. So let’s get started with this Decor Plate.

Supplies:

  • Plate
  • Ribbon
  • Flower(s)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Vinyl (Already Cut)
  • Transfer Tape
  • Alcohol
  • Squeegee
  • Microfiber Cloth

So now that you got your supplies ready I am going to give details on the supplies. My plate came from Hobby Lobby they have them for about $1.99 these plates are plastic, which is great because it will not break. They are not meant to be eaten off of. They had a variety of colors and just worked out perfect. My flower(s) came from Michael’s they are just a set of fabric flowers I actually think they are more paper but not as light as paper. Does that make sense? Well as far as vinyl you can cut with your vinyl or if you wish you can visit my Boutique and order some vinyl from there or just message me for details. Alright that is all I have to say as far as details. I think the video is pretty self-explanatory. Stay tuned for part 2.

Props to my friend Michele who gave me this wonderful idea. =)
