DIY Fall Decor | Twine Pumpkin | Hello Fall Sign

diy fall decor twine sign

Hello my crafters, today we are doing a Twine sign by this I mean we are making a pumpkin with twine and making hello fall with string. I think it was challenging because I burned my fingers so much. LOL but I loved how it came out. This will take patience. So let’s get to it.

Supplies:
Wood
Paint
Pencil
Scissors
String
Twine (Jute)
Hot Glue gun/glue sticks
Accessories (Fall leaves, flowers, etc)

Directions:

Okay lets start off with your sign. I got my sign at Target for like 3 bucks in bulls-eyes corner. I did not have to stain it, sand it or anything it came ready to paint. So I then made a stencil of a pumpkin and painted. (This is not on the video) I then used a pencil and wrote out hello fall, this is to give me a guide to where I will put my string.

Now, start off with your twine. Cut pieces etc and trace your pumpkin with the hot glue gun and slowly putting your twine on top of your glue. Use caution. You don’t want to burn yourself. After you put twine on the pumpkin. Get your string and start tracing your letters with the hot glue and do the same. Slowly lay it down.

Once this is done you are on your way to being done. You just need to gather your accessories and hot glue them on. You can use flowers, fall leaves, leaves from flowers (of course not real ones). Make something unique or copy me I don’t mine. =)

That is it. You are done. That wasn’t so bad. I hope you love it. I can’t wait to finish off all my fall decor.
